Bianchetto truffle

Tuber borchii Vitt o tuber albidum Pico

The outer part called “Periudum” or “Scorza” is light coloured, variable from ocher to reddish. The outer part called “Gleba” is clear tending to tawny until brown, with wide white veins which become darker with its maturaty. Strong scent with garlic hints. It doesnt reach big dimensions. 5/10 cm of diameter maxinum.

We suggest to keep it in the fridge wrapped in absorbent paper and closed in a glass container. It is advisable to consume it within 4 days. The picking begins the 15th of January until the 15th o April.
